Why did I decide to pick it up?
I've had my eye on this for a while! In 2020, it was a toss-up between my current flagship novel and this one: it’s heart-wrenching, angst, mature rofans. There have only been 3 full novels since 2020 that I’ve liked enough to tl from start to finish (and I read like 2 a week on my kindle)- this is one of them. I was still managing Word Excerpt at that time and had 20+ projects under my belt + staff, so I could only afford to commit to one, so this has been on hold for 3 yrs ;;
Romeo and Juliet is my second-fav Shakespeare (behind Merchant of Venice), but instead of Montague vs Capulets it's Leveaux vs Fontana (there's family feuding > <, good politics in the plot + romance)

I love the enemies-to-lovers trope, if you couldn’t already tell by my taste XD, and this time it's Enemies->Lovers->Enemies->Lovers LOL.
