[TIDK] 166 — Malfunctioning Shredder

166 – Malfunctioning Shredder

Harold cursed at the sight. It was dark in the factory. Most of the pirates were beggars, but the pirates who threatened the coast of Salantier did not have much income. If he was lucky, they could get a job as a tanner, which was rare. And now the young people here seem to be renovating the abandoned plant and making and selling drugs from the pirate island.

Scarlett saw old, stationary machines. Most of them were steam-driven, and these pirates used machines at their discretion in a way that had nothing to do with their uses. Especially in a huge container that seemed to boil something, the grass was added with an unknown purpose.

Scarlett was distracted by the smell and leaned her head against the wall. “I can smell something unpleasant.….”

Perhaps he heard her voice, a young man named Sean said, bringing a handful of medicinal herbs and pushing them into Scarlett’s face.

“You know what this is, right? It’s a bitter pill for your brother’s eyes. Do you know how much medicine I’ve spent on one of them?”

Scarlett shook her head, trembling.

“I don’t know what route you got it, but you need to take three pills over there to get a bottle of the potion. My eyes got better so quickly because I poured it all out. That potion could heal our eyes.”

Said, Sean

Scarlett managed to nod.

Sean pushed her back into the corner and pulled herself up.

“It’s time for Viktor Dumfelt to come. Cause his guards saw us.”

Only then did Scarlett think of the navies running to the second floor earlier and know that Viktor had been escorting her so far.

It was when she was barely breathing against the wall. The crusher, which was grinding herbs, suddenly stopped.

“Oh, what should I do?”

The young man freaked out and checked the engine that didn’t run. If it was destroyed, it could not produce most of the drugs distributed by pirates in the future.

The old machines sometimes had to be beaten if they didn’t work, so the young man walked and kicked the machine’s engine. Then the engine rattled and began to move, perhaps because of the kick.

However, after being kicked, the nearby hay was sucked into the engine, and smoke began to flow from the machine. At the same time, the grinder was not turned, so the young man inside the grinder screamed to check the turbine.

“Argh!”

The screw of the giant grinder began to spin. The pirate who kicked the engine tried to turn off the machine quickly, but it didn’t turn off when he turned off the switch, apparently because of a problem when he kicked it.

The young man screamed louder as a huge screw moved in the shredder. The nearby pirates rushed to push the screw with a pole, but it didn’t stop. It was a mess in an instant.

“Johnny, get your arm out of the way!”

“Darn it, how am I supposed to get rid of it?”

“Cut off my arm! I’m going to get dragged in and die!”

At that moment, Scarlett, who was shaking in the corner, ran wildly. She clung to the engine and shouted.

“Get me a toolbox!”

“Hey, there’s no such thing here!”

“Then make it and bring it to me!”

Scarlett shouted and pulled pieces of wood off the old wooden wall. Then she said, putting pieces in the machine to the young man through a small crack in the shredder.

“Put it up there where it’s white.”

“Yes, yes!”

The young man quickly wedged in the white paint. It slowed the turbine a little with a rattle.

But it didn’t stop, and the screw that went to the front slowly returned to where the young man was.

Scarlett shouted. “Make some tools and come!”

“Go, I got it!”

The young people rushed out and, fortunately, got a toolbox from a nearby store. She thought it might have been stolen, but Scarlett didn’t have time to think about it.

She opened the toolbox and quickly disconnected the engine. And the hay went in earlier and started repairing the broken engine.

Scarlett always became serious when she started handling machinery, and her concentration increased significantly. She knew it was her greatest talent.

She quickly pulled out the hay stuck in his hands, and in the meantime, she hit the line where heat emanated from. Then a spark broke out.
